I wish I could be there with my brothers-in-arms
Edited on Sun Aug-29-04 02:46 PM by EstimatedProphet
Right now, as we speak, we are showing the world that we are a force, that we will not sit idly by and let our country be destroyed for the sake of a few power-hungry monsters. The protestors are patient (as shown by their actions with the fire), eloquent (the protestor who spoke about why he was there, that he feels like a stranger in his own country), and disciplined (no fights or abusive behavior is breaking out in a crowd of what must be 1 million people).
Thank you my brothers and sisters. You represent us all with honor.

On edit: added sisters too. didn't mean to exclude anyone, but I was thinking of the title to the Dire Straits song...:)

1. Hey, your SISTERS in arms, too!
Smile. Wish I could be there, too, but we are in spirit, and let's hope to God and Goddess all those people there are registered to vote and WILL VOTE!!!

7. Your sisters are there, too
But I know you meant that! :)

It was tremendous in Washington, wasn't it? I wish I could have joined them in NY for this as well.
