Cindy McCain indicated her sympathy for John and Teresa Kerry, saying, "I know what they're going through."

During the decisive South Carolina primary in 2000, rumors spread that McCain had an illegitimate black child and Cindy McCain was a drug addict.

"I was shocked that anyone would believe that," she said.

3. No, CNN will be flattering to bush

in 2000 they did the same thing, Gore was presented as boring with no substance, while bush was presented as nice and solid convictions

They will do the same thing this time. The one they did on Kerry implied that Kerry was just an opportunist. The one on bush they are pushing that he is on a mission, I do not think they will exploit the "God" factor, or anything negative
