How is AIPAC legal?
I thought foreign involvement was forbidden in American politics.

5. It's a U.S. organization that supports Israel
(a little too strenuously for my taste, but that's another discussion).

They have a PAC which they use to funnel funds to candidates who support what they support (and defeat those who don't, such as Cynthia McKinney of GA and Earl Hilliard of AL in 2002 primaries); they have a lobbying arm; and who knows what else.

But it's American citizens, an American non-profit organization, all perfectly legal as far as their legal organizational structure goes. What ELSE they do, such as supply Israel with classified U.S. documents and other information, may not fit the "legal" concept, and we shall see. Perhaps.

6. They are just the flip side of Hamas.
And don't tell me that AIPAC doesn't fund terrorists. They sure as hell send support to the IDF.

2. I don't know about the legalities,
but I think they will be getting a lot more scrutiny in the next few weeks that they would like.

3. Let's hope the scrutiny continues
and the Kerry administration slaps them with RICO charges, at the very least, and TREASON at the most.
