CNN poll -- 61% are going to watch "no coverage" of the RNC
HA.

http://www.cnn.com

Why is it I just don't believe those polls showing a "tight race"?

Look at the crowds Kerry generates.

Look at the crowds Bush generates.

It seems to me that Kerry is supported by 2/3 of the people of the country right now.

Maybe there are a lot of invisible republicans out there.

Doesn't make any sense to me.

1. because
most polls are of likely voters or registered voters and a higher percentage of republicans are more likely to vote than dems

17. Well, maybe, but...
Per Timmy Russert today on msnbc, "All of our polling models are based on the demographics of the 2000 election."

What happens if massive numbers of voters come out this year? No one knows, but Dems weren't energized in the 2000 election like we are today, and I understand that they way they determine "likely voters" is by asking if the person voted in 2000. Yes = likely voter.

4. I agree
I think EVEN we du'ers are blinded by the smut the media lays on us.

Even people who I've known to vote for Bush are not voting for Bush (they may not vote at all) cuz they don't like Kerry...

Also I was garage saling with my friend in Johnson County, Kansas last Saturday and saw 4 Kerry/Edwards signs and NO Bush signs.

When I pointed this out to my Johnson County Kansas friend, even she was pleasantly surprised.

The signs are there --- Maybe it IS going to be a landslide....

8. Small correction
Kerry draws crowds.
Bush has to have his rounded up.
Sorry to be so nitpicky.

12. I'll simply turn the tv off. But if I was forced to
Edited on Sun Aug-29-04 04:40 PM by LibDemAlways
watch the boob tube during the RNC I'd choose a Barney marathon, hemmoroid cream informercials, or Brady Bunch reruns before I'd watch a second of it. Life is too short to waste on repuke pondscum.
