Just saw Channel 4 news in NY
and it made me sick. They started with the Park, saying how there were only a few thousand protesters, well short of predictions. Not telling viewers the protest was moved downtown. Then they went to the story of the March, FROM INSIDE MSG!!! Showing maybe 2 seconds of the march, mentioning there were "a few hundred thousand protesters" and spending the rest of the story on what arrest were made. (About 100.) I was there, there were probably a half a million people. And we get bubkis press. It makes you want to cry.

1. I've been to a bunch of protests
and reading the media the next day is the most depressing part.

But don't worry: The people who needed to hear what you had to say got the message.

2. Welcome to DU!
Sounds like it'd be worth a call or a letter to their newsroom to set them straight - since, after all, you were THERE, yourself. But evidently, other coverage from other networks was far more accurate (CBS Evening News, I understand) and will have people wondering on which planet Channel 4 News was all day.

4. Don't sweat it
NBC news coverage was pretty good. Lots of interviews and BIG crowd shots.
