Did W. Bush ever fly solo?
I'm curious, did he ever get so far into his training as to take a solo flight?

1. Why are there no co-pilots who can recall his being in the
TANG? Why is there no one who can come forward and say they remember his days in Alabama??

3. You mean operate an airplane all by himself, right?
I'm sure he was "flying solo" many times without the benefit of aircraft.

4. Bad News
He did complete his training (you don't get the wings till then). He qualified in the F-102 Delta Dart, a single seat fighter-interceptor. Therefore, no co-pilots will remember him. Since the F-102's mission was to fly in pairs to intercept Russian bombers, we should be looking for wingmen. How come none of them have come forward?

7. There is a two-seater version of the F-102
I am in the "he never flew solo" crowd. He's lied about EVERY FUCKING OTHER THING IN HIS LIFE, so I have no reason to believe his wings are real, either.

By the time he trained on it, it was considered a pig. Heck, the actual TRAINER jet he was in (T-38) went faster.

10. True, there was a TF-102
But, it was issued at the rate of 1 per squadron (about 1 for every 12 planes) it was used for check rides and was rarely used as an interceptor. The extra weight and shape (seats were side by side)reduced it effectiveness in that role.

I'm sure that the political influence notation on his records allowed him to pass with lower scores than the program required, but it's hard to fake a solo.

13. "hard to fake a solo" Actually, I don't think he even made it far enough
to fake a solo. I think it was pencil-whipped with the agreement that he would NEVER, EVER be allowed to pilot a plane by himself.

11. You're wrong...

The F-102 is a bitch of a plane to fly, like it or not. It's considerably faster and more complicatd than the T-38.

Incidently, being a "pig" is a bad thing for airplanes.. It usually means it's more difficult to control and sensitive to performance issues.

A T-38 goes faster (812 vs. 810 MPH).

Yes, I know that a pig means bad for airplanes. Why do you think *he* trained on it? Cause the TANG had TWO of them?!!??

Folks that wanted to go to SE Asia at that time usually trained on either cargo planes or F-4s. He chose the ONE fighter that was not deployed in that theater.

Hey, you might find this interesting.

6. bUSH HAD NOTHING TO DO WITH
flying in Alabama. He was attached to a postal unit. His flying took place at flight school at Ellington AFB. He did get wings despite a review which called him "marginal" as a pilot. However, Bush was never assigned to any unit where regular flights were required. I suspect his flying days came to an end around the same time as his training.
This could mean why there are very few NG pilot who remember him. He would go off with an instructor, fly atround and then he would go home. And everyone else went home. If he had spent any reasonable lengths of time with his unit, those guys would have remembered him.

8. don't know, but he did dance naked on a bar in texas...
apparently the busheviks went nuts tracking down rumoured photos of said event prior to geebs entry into 2k race....
geebush also is the ONLY human being ever to get hisself a new texas drivers licence number (nine digit #000000005 issued on march 31/95)
ronald reagan and even moreso, geebush, are proof of how much contempt the ruling elite has for us, for democracy and for law....
ironically, the freepers know this more then anyone, yet it's useless knowlege cuz they like being the 'persecuted and misunderstood' minority

9. No, otherwise he would not be alive today.
There is no way this man is capable of flying a plane. He can't even ride a bike or a scooter.

15. I'd say yes, but I might offer the following: Solo or not, he *refused*

to take a physical, grounded himself. I never understood this, wouldn't taking a physical be like, uh, I don't know, an order or something? Aren't they big on following those in the military? Don't they court martial folks for disobeying orders? Seems like that is a bigger question than solo or not.
