DID ANYBODY ELSE HEAR BUSH SAY HE FLEW FIGHTER JETS
Today after the CSPAN protest, my friend said Bush was being interviewed and said he thought Kerry was a hero, but that he thought he was a hero too because he flew fighter jets in the war!!! My friend heard on radio, could not recall who was interviewing Bush, it was just a soundbite.

DOES ANYONE HAVE LINK OR KNOW ABOUT THIS?

2. I saw it on TV but I don't remember where. It was this morning on one
of the talking heads. Maybe Russert or Face the Nation - or, sorry, we watched Fox for a while.

3. Weren't they fighter jets (old ones no longer used, but still)???
That's what I think I remember. I know there'll be an answer to your question (and mine) along any minute now.

4. Yes, he said this. the pitiful ass made some kind an illusion
that the obsolete Korean War era trainer he flew was a "fighter Jet". What an ass.

8. When one examines the record, it is actually
very unlcear just what if anything the guy ever flew.
He claims to have flown F-102, but there apparently isn't any record of this, he has also stated that he has flown T-38.

6. here is the quote
http://www.democraticunderground.com/top10/04/168.html

Even George W. Bush admits John Kerry is a war hero, saying last week, "I think him going to Vietnam was more heroic than my flying fighter jets. He was in harm's way and I wasn't." So now it's clear that either George W. Bush or the Swift Boat Idiots are lying. One or the other. Who can it be?

9. I know, I know . . .
Could both of them be lying?

I bet the weed that would be king couldn't operate the quarter airplane outside of the grocery store.

11. I think * is trying to ride coattails here
"We were BOTH heroes so let's move forward and not scrutinize these old records (coughMINEcough) anymore!"

12. Yes, I saw the interview, and yes,
Bush said he flew fighter jets.

I never heard anything about him actually flying a fighter jet before during his brief stay in the Texas National Guard.

Anyone know the whole picture?
