Guestion. If commercials pay for broadcasting on regular TV, then
does the commercials airing during the RNC, contribute to pay for the broadcast time of the RNC. Or does the RNC pay for the broadcast time? Anybody know?

1. My guess is that the entire show is a paid infomercial.

2. Well it's the grey area of news broadcasting.
But the RNC is technically news. So I doubt the RNC gets any of the add revenue sold on the various stations.

3. I was more wondering if the companies running ads in between
were contributing to the airtime of the RNC. My thinking is...
are the makers of 'such and such', supporting this convention
by paying for it's spot.
