Y'all volunteered yet?
Is sitting in these forums all evening the best way to get a President elected?

It helps... a little.

But wouldn't it be great to talk to a swing/sporadic/undecided/persuadable voter at your local dem./kerry/senator/congressman's campaign office and actually change their mind to our side?

I do it every day. Making phone calls, knocking on doors, taking snacks to your local campaign staffers - that's how we win elections.

1. I have a hard time finding an undecided voter.
I do have an easy time finding idiots who like Bush, and one of my co-workers urged them successfully to vote for Kerry

Said person didn't trust Kerry, but his only real issue was the safety of his son in the Marines, currently in Iraq as a rifleman

She had an easy time (five minutes) explaining how he might never see his son again under the Bush administration, they admitted maybe they should pay more attention to the news....

I wanted to puke when I heard...

Where we get to volunteer in presidential elections.

Schools in on Wednesday. Bwuahah.

Then on November 3rd it is just basically a study hall. Because of that it is only half a credit instead of a full.

6. yup
My sister is a team leader in her ward for the Missouri Democratic party, and I've been putting in a lot of time helping. Tonight we'll be doing some phone banking, and later in the week we'll be delivering yard signs. What better way to 'celebrate' the GOP convention?

8. I was gonna say something similar.
I kinda wish this place would turn into a ghost town until Nov. 2 because everybody is out working for Kerry-Edwards.
