Where is the 'We cant win the war on terror' story on CNN?!?!
Ok, I know the RNC is going to get major headlines and all, but a google search, which scours 4500 news sources only came up with 12 related articles when I finally found ONE after a LOT of searching:
http://news.google.com/news?hl=en&ned=us&ie=UTF-8&ncl=http://www.chicagotribune.com/news/specials/elections/conventions/rnc/chi-040830bushadmits.story

I mean, CNN doesnt have it anywhere on their site that I can find... the other major news orgs do except of course Fox (if they have one I cant find it).

2. like I said
...the other major news orgs (msnbc included) do, but overall, there are only a handful of stories on it (btw, of course MSNBC is going to have it - they scored the interview that got the quote!!)... but CNN, the 2nd largest news org doesnt have it anywhere on their site.

4. Ok, Ive written CNN...
My letter to CNN:

I am curious as to why there is no major story regarding President Bush's statement that the war on terror can not be won. I understand the RNC gets the main headline and all, but if Kerry had said that, it would be all over the place. It is outrageous that Bush can say basically that our men and women overseas are risking their life for an unwinnable war. The number who have already paid that sacrifice is approaching 1,000. A small reference to the remark in an obscure article is not justified. This President claims we are safer because of his actions and that he wants to root out all terrorist killers, then turns around and says it cant be done. Meanwhile 40-50 of our soldiers, our husbands, wives, children, friends pay the ultimate price every month in this 'unwinnable' war. If you are going to plaster Kerry's out of context mispeaks all over, and report on the completely unfounded claims of the Swiftoat Veterans for so-called Truth, certainly you must expose this a little more prominantly than has been shown so far. This is an outrage!
