Just got the word that BBV will be a topic on the morning show, 9am - 12noon, Eastern time.

FYI-

Blackboxvoting.org went down due to extra heavy volume.

While a lot came from one site, (Fark?) don't know that that was the only source hitting it hard.

I don't want to call this a hack anymore.

You don't have to "hack" a darn thing to get into the Diebold GEMs vote data base.

It's access, built in access.

That's a program feature.

And apparently, a redundant one, too, since there are several ways in.

Gee, when they talk about "redundancy" in storing the computer's version of the vote, shouldn't they also talk about the redundant, secret access features too?

As far as I know, Bev Harris hasn't been on yet. But I doubt that she will be there because HER WEBSITE HAS JUST BEEN SHUT DOWN AGAIN. Most likely Diebold is up to it's dirty legal shenanigans again.

Anybody read her latest expose on the Gems central tabulator? It's a timebomb that Diebold is trying desperately to disconnect. You can read the whole thing at http://www.indybay.org/news/2004/08/1693681.php
