I don't mean to be judgemental - in fact I have no judgement about it. Just an observation.

I have a couple of friends who are big addicts. Neither use drugs or booze any more. But they're addictive with substitutes.

One is into running and biking. So she does it all the time. Even when it inconveniences others. Even when she's done more than most people would. And she's like that with everything.

Same with my other addict friend. Go away for the weekend with her and she has to bring more fattening food than any ten people would eat.
