The newspaper I work for failed to mention TWO major issues from yesterday
IMO

1. How Shrub said "We can't win war on terror"
2. The Band-Aid issue.

We have a staff reporter down in NYC and in his story he failed to mention the band aid.
He also wrote nothing about Shrub's miscue.

They couldn't even run an AP story on that statement.
I feel the band-aid issue has to be one of the dirtiest tactics used in politics ever.

I am really pissed off. I blasted the news department.
They said, they didn't have control over what our staff writer wrote.

I always thought our paper was left-wing.
They usually always endorse the DEM candidates.

Am I wrong to be this pissed? Thanks for letting me rant.
I am kind of sick about reading some of these posts about the RNC and how some feel Kerry is losing his steam, which I think isn't true, so my above statements kind of feel like I'm doing the same thing. I hope I'm not.

the "We can't win war on terror" was a real Dosi too
of course when the liberal press - npr - did mention it they tried to make the dems look bad by 'RUSHING TO THE CAMERAS AND MIKES' - or somet'n like that - to COUNTER of course we got to hear NONE of that...

caused the chimp to have to do an emergency phone in to rush to calm his brownshirts down

the band-aid issue isn't going away and NEITHER is the 'we can't win' if kerry's team choose to bring it up.

and i applaud your response and i hope it has some impact and not your being fired ;->

:toast:

peace

2. You are not wrong.
Thank you for trying to work the system from within! Keep on them, but of course watch your back - I assume you like your job. But anything you feel comfortable doing within the confines of your job can only be positive.

Thank you!

7. I felt comfortable saying what I did
I work in sports and I knew the guy from news that I told pretty well.

He took my statements pretty well. But I doubt if they'll do anything to erase their failure to report the truth the rest of the week.

5. Sorry to hear that.
Luckily the head of my News ? is a bit liberal, the pukes at work cry fowl all the time while I defend it as fair, which it is.
