2. Despicable
Reagan place his jack boot upon the throat of all working Americans and then told them to pull themselves up by their bootstraps. MLK NEVER did that. Dickhead.

3. Well ,reagan did "prove deficits don't matter"!
That's what I read in my "Washington Spectator" that Paul O'Neil said that cheney told him and was reported in O'Neil's book "The Price Of Loyalty".

5. Akin to comparing Caesar to Christ...
Rev. King, at the time of his murder, was a Christian socialist who led a campaign to dispel poverty, militarism and racism from the dark heart of America. And he was murdered for it.

Ronald Reagan, on the other hand, was a Christian fascist who cut a bloody swathe through the world; an icon of an immoral ethos. And he lived into his 90's.

No. Damn. Comparison.

7. I can just picture all the well-healed "Compassionate Repugs"
sending their servants out to sing "We shall overcome" for them.

9. I assume he said something like this:
Martin Luth King worked to improve the world and to help people, unlike that shameless corporate stooge called Ronald Reagan.

10. and he was greeted with the sound of ONE HAND CLAPPING
I heard some of that ass munch on NPR. It sounded vewy qwiet while he was speaking. really, faintest applause I have heard on NPR from their crowd of lackeys. The applause-o-meter tells the tale for this parties real feelings toward minorities. They probably abhoorred that he uttered MLK's and Reagans name in the same sentence. Maybe they were all out to lunch or shopping while he spoke. Well we know they are all out to lunch.

13. What The Heck Did Reagan Do For the People
That is a foolish comparison. Martin Luther King Jr. actually put his life on the line to help people. How can anyone compare Reagan to King. King lead marches to assure that people had the right to vote, to sit at lunch table, and to go the unsegrated schools. I do not think Reagan did anything close to these things. King tried to unite America. Reagan was one of the people who used fear and racism to divide America. Reagan was the one who claimed welfare queens drove around in Cadillics. Reagan is in onway like King.
