What's your take on this guy, John Sperling?

2. Ah! I forgot. He's also pro-decriminalization of herb.
Really? What makes you think so?

I'm not disagreeing with you, it's just that this is the second John Sperling thread I've tried to start this week and you're the first one to respond.

So I need to milk this for all it's worth. ;)

3. lol understood, he isn't the most exciting indiidual to talk about
That is probably why you lack a lot of responses.

Well I'll just say working for him is great. His companies respect workers rights and their privacy. That is the main reason I like him, in addition to agreeing with him on the herb thing and pretty much everything else.

Come on, what's not to like about an 80 year old ex-beatnik who is worth $3 billion?

8. His donation history is great.
I just wonder why he doesn't get brought up more on DU.

The whole Metro vs. Retro thing as outlined in his bood "The Great Divide" is pretty fascinating.
