Right On ACLU!!
ACLU has a commercial out that I just saw on CNN challenging the Patriot act. In it, it says that challenging the patriot act isnt democrat, republican, liberal or conservative, but American. It also points out that they are trying to make the whole thing permanent...GREAT commercial! GO ACLU!!!

Issue a statement something like this: "If elected, my 1st act will be to repeal the ill conceived and misnamed "Patriot Act". The Act was rushed through Congress and, while I agreed to support it temporarily when the 9/11 attack required a unified response, the value of this legislation is no longer operative. In fact, it is now apparent that it is a dangerous instrument in the hands of someone who would want to turn the Presidency into a Dictatorship. I don't need it to be President and you don't need it to be safe."
