I caught an astroturfer in my local paper

i found a form letter in the local newspaper and clued in the paper, and they ran a good story on it.

I had a letter in the Sun-Sentinel (S. Florida) recently. The paper called me and had me verify that I was the author before they would print it.

btw: our DU media blaster allows us to send a letter that we wrote to several media outlets at once (a mass mailing), so it is not the same thing.

It was the Social Security one.

The editor of the paper wrote an apology for printing it and also printed the truth about how it was the Repugs behind the SS changes.
