Iraq" can be found on the always excellent Democracy Now's show from today. It's at about the 39:00 minute mark. I had no idea that this had happened. Code Pink founder Medilla Benjamin somehow got in the convention, and when Schwarzenegger was speaking she got about twenty feet from cheney and unfurled a large pink banner saying "Pro Life. Stop the Killing in Iraq." As security was taking her away she passed within feet of cheney and can be heard yelling repeatedly, "mr. cheney, stop the killing in Iraq!"

I haven't seen much mainstream television coverage of the convention--was this shown or mentioned at all? The feeling I get is that the networks are ignoring everything protesters are doing, trying to pretend the convention is one big Hallmark presentation. Meanwhile outside, New Yorkers by the thousands have been taking direct action against the BFEE.
