To my surprise, and delight since I am the dem, only 1 repuke has watched any of the convention. He keeps trying to stir up a conversation and most of the other repigs just blow him off or change the subject.

Dare I think that this might be happening elsewhere? Has anyone seen the ratings thus far and how do they compare with 2000?

I so hope that this is a sign of America's own regime change, this whole swift boat liars thing has me feeling rather low.

Ha, that's funny. It IS good news, isn't it? He couldn't even get the
other guys worked up about Arnold's economic girlie boy comment.

2. I've noticed that several Repugs I know are being
very, very quiet right now because, I think, they are embarrassed by their fearless leader - you can't tell me they don't think he's a total fuckup. Hell, I'm embarrassed for them.

10. Same at my workplace. The resident repugs have been VERY quiet.
It suits me. I don't want to stir up anything by saying "I told you so." I want them to stay home on election day, or vote Kerry.

3. but who are the pubbies voting for on Nov2?
It would be hard to talk politics with so many of them around and so few of you.

I now email all my pub and indy friends and family one true article or fact about the bush administration a day. Today was stem cell research day. Tomorrow I am looking for something on the deficit. Just one fact a day to help them think. 'Course they probably just delete the moment it hits the inbox, but, hey, I am trying.

4. I know one is voting for Kerry, one is not voting, as for the others I
don't know yet but I am working on them.

It is sort of funny, but also kind of pathetic, that when some of them want to tlk about Kerry they come to my desk and speak quietly and cautiously as if they are afraid,

I despise the GOP and how they intimidate and put fear in people. It is a pathetic way to have to feel.

8. prolly scared that the other people will hear.
I used to be much quieter about my political convictions, but no more. 'course I own my business, so that makes it much easier to be opinionated.

5. May I make a suggestion
Check in at the American Progress Center's website and use their "Message of the Day" link for your daily infomercials.

And keep up the good work

9. After and during the selection, it was and I left almost on the
verge of tears about every day. But then I found some progressive sights. like this one, (I know I have low posts but used to sign in under Ignatius and had like 4000 or something) anyways, this place, buzzflash and my husband and son have been my lifelines.

Now, however, with the exception of one guy, they are all pretty quiet and some are even open to discussions about Kerry.

14. The "Light Bulb Installation Division?"
Proof that companies are running lean. It usually takes a baker's dozen, minimum.

12. In my office, two guys were gushing over Ahhnold's speech.
I didn't see it, so they filled me in. One of them said "They'll be talking about this for a long time." To me, from what they described, it sounded like another old Ahhnold speech, where he regurgitates his worn-out lines from his movies. I'll be back. Girly men.

I guess if that level of speaking turns your crank, I can't help you.

13. Someone on here today said that with all the plastic surgery Arnold has
has how on earth can he call anyone else a girlie man? Not to mention the fact that he used to parade around in thongs with other men.

My brother, who is btw a big Arnold fan. told me that Arnold had to have a breast reduction surgery and a penis implant because of the steroid abuse and how it had screwed up his hormones. I hadn't seen or heard that anyplace else, but I don't think my brother would lie about that.

Anyway, I personally think Arnold would make Darwin trun in his grave.
