CNN on the gender gap

Hemmer asked the age old question this morning, "Republican gender gap--how do you bring more women into the tent this year?" He then interviews Bush's sister to help answer that question.

Have they ever asked the question: "Democratic gender gap--how do you bring more men into the tent this year?"!

4. White males have taken the biggest economic beating

in the history of this countyr over the last 40 years. That's why most families are two earner families. They sold the boys the bill of goods that they weren't doing well because their pockets were being robbed to support fat, lazy, (black), welfare queens, and they bought it. Oh boy, did they buy it. Throw in a little macho swaggering over the military and law enforcement, threaten the rights that permit their wives to work and be more independent, and sweeten the pot with a couple of bait and switch tax cuts, and there you are.

THAT is the reason for the gender gap. What the Dems need to do is point out that a man used to be able to support his family, and point out how many years the pubbies have been in control since that was the case.

It's still the economy.
