Bizzaro brother in law strikes again
I emailed my right wing bizzaro facist a-hole brother in law about the disgusting purple band aid crap.......this is the rantings I received back.

I didn't notice I had got it because it went directly into my Junk Mail folder (how fitting).

Anyway....he is a southern, very racist, self righteous, alcoholic f@%# stick who has been in the Navy for 16 years as a calibration tech.

Welcome to his world....lol

---------------------------------------------------
On Scary's medals, His first was “earned” during a boring river cruise. No fighting. No bullets or shells flying. This is by his own mouth and diaries. He was bored and fired an RPG into a bolder on the bank of the river. The shrapnel from this juvenile, foolish act hit him in the arm. To earn a purple heart, there MUST be enemy fire as per Naval regulations and is NEVER awarded to the “walking wounded.” His CO told him this so he went back, rewrote the award nomination and resubmitted it via a DIFFERENT chain of command – not his. His next two are just as bizarre. The band-aid was the act of ONE delegate and not the president, his administration or his campaign. She was told to remove it after the camera got a shot of it. Did you know that? Look, this stuff is flying around the Internet everyday about both candidates. So there’s one picture of a band-aid… there’s thousands of pictures about both out there. Anyway, I’ve been in for 16+ years now and I know first hand how easy it is to get awards you don’t deserve with the right connections. The only thing that ruins moral worse than not getting what you deserve is watching some shmuck get something he didn’t. I see it every day. You’d understand if you were ever in the service – especially if you were enlisted. That’s not a comment on you – just your take on the situation. If you’d read the records on his medals, which are out there, maybe you’d be just as disgusted with him as 95% of the military is. Or maybe not since you just want anyone but Bush. We’re not nearly as disgusted with his medals as we are with him for what he did when he got back here. I don’t believe that any person should serve as Commander in Chief who doesn’t believe that the American soldier is the liberator abroad and the defender of freedom at home. If he wanted to blame anyone for anything, he should have laid squarely at the feet of Congress where it belonged for running a war from Capital Hill vice the Pentagon.

To most service members, the Purple Heart is the smallest issue with him. His twenty-year voting record has been against the military on every vote. He has voted against every pay raise. He has voted against every funding increase. He has voted against every major new weapons platform technology for his entire twenty years in office. He voted to send us to this war and then voted against funding it. WHAT WAS THAT ONE ABOUT??? He has stated this past week that he would only go to war with the permission of the UN. (you know… those people who got us into Vietnam in the first place?) It would seem he would have us fight on empty stomachs sticks at the whim of the likes of the French.

You seem to be equally as disgusted with W as we are with Scary when you call W a deserter. Once again, if you were in my shoes, maybe you wouldn’t be so disgusted. It’s a matter of record that W’s TANG unit was due to rotate into Vietnam in late 71 and it is a little know fact that he had volunteered to go. It didn’t matter. By the time he was fully qualified in his aircraft, we were pulling troops out. He would have never been allowed to go anyway. Think about it – having the son of a former US representative and present UN Ambassador as a POW in your country is a prize that would be to good to pass up for several reasons. If I have to spell it out to you, he would be used on parade as both a propaganda tool and bargaining chip. This made him and his career a liability to the mission. If the Bush twins were uniformed and in Iraq right now, they would have already cost lives of men whose sole jobs would be just to protect them from capture.

1. Tell him calibrate his spell and fact-check.
Ask him how the Kool-Aid is, too.

May the patience of Job go with you.

9. He has the southern red-neck racist mentality...
We grew up around Memphis.....as you know, there is SO much of this kind of thinking down there.....You and I are definitely a minority there. His parents, good, Christian Republicans moved over to the Bentonville, Rogers area to get away from the blacks in Tn....now they are complaining about the Latinos in Rogers and want to move to a "whiter" area........God has a special place reserved for them when their time comes....:)

5. Ask him if he drinks the Kool Aide straight up or on the rocks!
Edited on Thu Sep-02-04 12:37 PM by merh
I would think straight up, since he is such a manly man, and he has enough rocks in his head!

I will include you in my prayers tonight! It has got to be tough to have someone like that in your family!

:nopity:

7. Bush volunteered to go???
I thought that the records that they released showed that he checked the box to not be sent to Vietnam. You might also want to ask how John McCain got sent to Vietnam if they would have prevented any high profile relatives from being sent.

13. That's why it's "little known".
And Bush's unit, flying obsolete planes as they were, would not get rotated into a combat situation unless World War 3 was well underway.

That'd be what, E-5? E-6?

There's a lot of diference between the Supreme NATO Commander and some Bosun Striker.

Same dynamics we'd use on a guy who was running the cash register at the all-night gas-n-gulp for 30 years since he was in high school.

I'm gonna give you the benefit of a doubt, even though I think you're jerking my chain.

Frankly, I don't care about people who choose to stay stuck in dead-end entry-level jobs. I dunno, maybe because I worked so damn hard to pull myself out of the SLIME Ronaldus Rex's "Better than 4 years ago" economy threw me into, instead of settling for being a minimum wage thrall for 20 years.

I don't have any patience with dumb Hoosiers who worry about the "Death Tax" because Gush Pfleghmball told them to when all they stand to inherit is a broken truck and 2 dogs, or people flipping burgers who say "I like Fox News. They're Fair an' Balanced, didja know that?"

Your sorely mistaken if you think being a "Big tent" party means that I go around saying "M-Kay, so if that's where you're at in your life, I gues that's M-Kay..."

Oh, but that makes me one of those "Liberal Elitists", doesn't it?

Well, shit, guess I don't get to put you on my "happy customer list"....

Deal.

There are so many factual errors in the first half of the first paragraph that I couldn't go on reading. This fellow sounds beyond all reason. Sorry you are evenly by marriage related to such a fool.

18. Ignorance is bliss

Delusional doesn’t even begin to describe this person.. he is like a brainwashed Moonie.

Eventually reality breaks through and they crash. Many of them can fall hard, give it a better than 50-50 chance this guy ends up in prison for some kind of violent crime.
