This year was particularly vicious, but that had to do with more of them hitting land. Usually we get equally powerful hurricanes and typhoons in the oceans but they don't make landfall....
But hey, let's have fun. Hurricanes are in fact caused by a warming of an oceans that is a side effect of global warming, which has accelerated due to lessened controls over the American factories adn an increased output of the Chinese. The former is the direct result of the EPA policy which is managed by an appointment of George W. Bush. The latter, by increased trade with China that comes with outsourcing created by relaxed corporate control under the Bush Administration, so either way, we can blame Bush.
