"Building that Bridge to the 18th Century"
Jon Stewart and the Daily Show's send-up of Zell's speech last night is priceless. Steven Cobert just told Jon Stewart that they'll have a duel doing the second commercial break of the Colin Quinn show.

2. that phrase may well be the best rhetorical tool to use against bush
it is short, sweet and ironic, yet also deals directly with the anti-progressive streak in all bush does.

yes,i know it was referring to miller, but it works on bush so well.

4. This was great. Did Miller really lose it on Hardball?
And even McCain agreed, wondered whether Kerry shot Miller's dog..

5. Also, the way the show started... Bush's speech was eloquent
and he ended it with the word: vagina...

6. what I learned on The Daily Show
2night

I have not seen any of the rethug lovefest Xcept what has been shown on Democracy Now! and The Daily Show. The podium/pulpit cross image Jon mentioned 2night was disgusting, totally off the charts. Nothing subtle about religious fanatics is there? When they re-played Wednesday's show immediately after 2night's entry, I noticed how pickles was in front of a back drop that heavily represented a STAINED GLASS WINDOW!!!!! All broken pieces of pink, white and red shards behind her, so humbly represented in her 'Madonna in Blue' suit.

Did anyone else notice this? Am I totally losin' it?

It appears 2 me saurove has certainly played up the holy couple BS at least subconsciously.
