Job-friendly economy, my sweet Zomby A&#^@!
Folks, there it is in code... Bush's empty rhetoric about providing a "job-friendly economy" for the next four years is a tacit admission that THIS economy not only hates jobs, but kicks them in the nuts.

Wait for the job numbers tomorrow. This is a CEO-friendly, Halliburton-humpin', fuck-you-jobs economy. His chances of making good on patching up relations between jobs and the economy are about the same as Dick Cheney getting his snarl surgically removed.

No way in hell will he win or steal the election.

"Job-friendly economy". Miserable failure all over this mouth-breathing footnote in history.

1. It's code.

'Providing opportunity for investment' and 'helping small businesses deal with health care' means:

-Cutting costs for investors and corporations, who continue to invest in their own pockets.

-Sabotaging Medicare by denying it ANY negotiation with pharma.

-Eliminating costly court battles that hold corporations liable for their crimes in the only manner they respect--$$.

In all cases Bush puts forth a vision of corporate America that has a concept of 'enough'--if we cut costs just a little more, they will suddenly give back to the country, create jobs, lower health care costs, whatever.

It's a fairy tale. CEO to worker pay has gone from 40 to 1 in 1980, to 541 to 1 in 2001. THAT is where their saved money will go--not to any 'help joe sixpack make ends meet' fund. He just puts it in code so that rubes will cheer their own destruction. :(

3. I think you about summed it
Contrast with Kerry's approach. Kerry's speech tonight was, well, strong enough to overcome my reservations about the man, and that is actually quite an accomplishmnent.

I sent Kerry a few bucks to oppose Bush. I will send more tomorrow to support Kerry.

5. Kerry's policies are all better than Bush's
His campaign is clueless about manipulating the media, however. He's got a deficit in media bias, but he also has unanswered talking points from months in the past. We'll see how these new attacks from him are hashed out.

2. it is a job friendly economy
no overtime, no benefits, no retirement, no decent minimum wage... perfect settings for a company to make a shitload of money, ship it to the Cayman's and not pay a fucking cent in taxes...
