1. Who cares if they're unscientific polls?
I'll take 57% Kerry to 43% bush any day.

5. 57% NO, 43% yes. There sure are a lot of really stupid people in this
country. I'm surprised they aren't all living in swampland buying bridges.

7. We all know these polls are bullshit, however...
Edited on Fri Sep-03-04 12:29 AM by edbermac
I think that they are important to swing in your party's favor. The only people who might be influenced by them are the undecideds. If they see a poll with Kerry or Bush leading, they'll probably say I might as well vote for the guy that's in the lead...

Sad to say about the intelligence of the American voter, but probably true...so get out there and DU those polls!!

12. also went o their comment section
what does squater need 2 do 2 get MY vote:

He could start by apologizing for lying about the 'threat' Iraq posed. Then he could apologize to all the families who have had daughters, sons, brothers, sisters, husbands, wives killed in his quest for oil.

He would then have to completely reverse his rape and pillage programs of the environment and OUR national parks and wilderness areas.

He would have to drop all the creepy 'God talks to me' rhetoric and use his life as an example of Christian values, in much the same way President Jimmy Carter does. No one would dare question President Carter's faith but he certainly didn't shove it down our throats. Nor did he treat women's issues with the disrespect and derision of the current administration.

A snowball has a better chance in hell than b*sh does of getting my vote.

15. Your comment reminds me of William Wallace's "negotiation" in Braveheart
"Lower your flags and march straight back to England, stopping at every home to beg forgiveness for a hundred years of theft, rape, and murder. Do this and your men shall live. Do it not, and every one of you will die today.

"Before we let you leave, your commander must cross that field, present himself before this army, put his head between his legs, and kiss his own arse."
