Best Wishes For Clinton; Mockery From Vito

As many of you have probably already heard, Bill Clinton suffered a minor heart attack today, and is going in for quadruple bypass surgery tomorrow. We here at the Barbaro for Congress campaign offer our prayers that the surgery goes well, and wish the former President a speedy recovery.

Unfortunately, it appears that Vito spent a bit too much time watching the hate-fest at the Republican convention the past few days. Or maybe it's just him showing his true colors.

Earlier today, on Fox News, Vito actually had the gall to suggest that Bill Clinton had a heart attack, and needed major surgery, because the Republican convention was so wonderful.

"Who knows? It could be the result of a successful Republican convention," were Vito's exact words, referring to the cause of Clinton's heart problems.

We here at the Barbaro for Congress campaign condemn this callous, insensitive mockery of a man about to have major surgery. Politics is one thing; a man's health and life, particularly that of the former President of the United States, are another.

Whatever your opinion of Bill Clinton, he deserves a certain basic amount of respect and compassion, both as a former President and as a human being. But, apparently, Vito doesn't understand this.

Vito thinks it appropriate to crack jokes about a man's impending quadruple bypass surgery. He should be ashamed of himself.

In West Allis, Wisconsin today Bush sent good wishes to Bill Clinton prior to major heart surgery amid boos. Isn't this a real situation similar to that 'described' for which we were crucified during the Wellstone Memorial? Why is there no outcry nor vilification? Why does everything take "it's o.k. if Pukes do it but when Dem's are "said" to be off there'll be hell to pay" imagery. I don't get it unless we consider the stupidity of Americans and/or a bias media pumping.
