FORMER American President Bill Clinton’s wife has forecast that the goal of achieving peace in the North of Ireland could help stop the advancement of global terrorism.

Senator Hillary Clinton told all sides involved in a new attempt to restore the Stormont power-sharing executive that their success was vital in holding off a major worldwide threat.

“What’s at stake here in Northern Ireland goes far beyond the potential for lasting peace, justice and the opportunity of economic growth,” she said.

Something else I have in common with the Clintons. I wish I could go live there, should the unthinkable happen and Kerry isn't our new president on the morning of November 3rd. It would be a great place to spend the next four years.
