Young Republicans support Iraq war, but not all willing to join the fight
These proud, young Republicans are falling over one another to enlist for our proud liberation of Iraq:

"Frankly, I want to be a politician. I'd like to survive to see that," said Vivian Lee, 17, a war supporter visiting the convention from Los Angeles,

"As long as there's a steady stream of volunteers, I don't see why I necessarily should volunteer," said Lee, who has a cousin deployed in the Middle East.

"I think I could do more here," Hokel said, adding that she's focusing on political action that supports the war and the troops.
"We don't have to be there physically to fight it," she said.

Similarly, 20-year-old Jeff Shafer, a University of Pennsylvania student, said vital work needs to be done in the United States. There are Republican policies to maintain and protect and an economy to sustain, Shafer said.

1. Hypocrisy in the Republican party!!??!! NO WAY!!!
I don't believe it! That reporter must have planted some of his liberal pinko friends in the crowd and took their answers. There is no way a republican would send the children of the poor to fight in a war that they wouldn't sacrifice themselves for.

<sarcasm off>

2. "I think I could do more here"
"We don't have to be there physically to fight it" uh huh. So she is focusing on political action here that supports the war and the troops...I guess that means she has a flag hanging on her house or a one of those tattered ones on her car, yeah that really helps. :eyes:

5. I'm sorry. I'd have to smack those
uppity, arrogant, little cowards!!! :grr:

I just read a thread that said there is a bill pending that would disallow those "accidents of nature" deferrment from military service, i.e. the draft. In this case a bill wishing to draft both men and women. Allowing only a small exception for a year of school or something like that. Wooooooooooooohooooooooo for that bill ONLY in terms of how it would yank their sorry asses right out of la la land and into the real world.

The very nerve that those people would even utter such non sense. It really pisses me off.

Chickenhawk pukes! Fuck these people. It's time we start calling them out. Whether it be on the net or in person. It's these people that piss me off the most. It's time they enlist or simply sit down and shut the fuck up!!!

10. I wouldn't want their wing nut asses anyways
It's people like this who think that they're too good for the down and dirty jobs that happens when you serve.

We've got people like that in the Air Force today, and they can't be depended upon to follow orders without bitching about it.

Let the little rich fuckers go live off of their mommy's and daddy's trust funds.

We don't need 'em.

14. Anyone supporting this war in such an open way
ought to be dragged to the Army or Marine recruiting office on the spot, or handed enlistment papers to complete. Not the air force or navy...drag them to where they will be in the infantry carrying a gun and shooting at people or being shot at.....now

15. Is it just me
Every time I see these young republicans on tv regurgitating. I can only notice that hollow stare in there eyes, like there is nothing there. There collective mind set is as shallow as an Earl Sheibe paint job. I think that this is living proof that Aliens from another planet did indeed plant there seed in Sasquatch when they landed in 1980 in the Pacific Northwest.

17. If we want them to sign up
It has to be the "in", "hip", "happening" thing to do.

Designer uniforms, MRE's made by Emeril Lagasse (BAMMM), call the "Drill Sargent" a "Personal Trainer". Get Brittany Spears to enlist (get her drunk and tell her it is a wedding). They already have those cool Hummers that the spoiled rich kid's parents won't let them drive here in the states.

Then, once they "volunteer" they can find out the truth on what a war is really all about.

18. If bush* is re-selected....
....they are all going to be:
DRAFT BAIT!!!!

You might want to inform them of their probable future. Very few of these young republican have the resources of the bush* family to duck the draft.
