I don't hear the boos when * mentions clinton

There is a thread of 200+ with people here livid about the "booing" that took place when Shrub mentioned Clinton's health problem and I have listened to this Mp3 4 or 5 times...

http://homepage.mac.com/mkoldys/bush.mp3

I don't hear any boos. In fact, after Dimson finishes his comment the crowd seemed to clap.

What am I missing here that has so many of us in a state of disgust?

But you know what...As long as there is a perception that there were boos, I'm OK with that.

2. Me too... Just like the perception that there was no crowd noise during
Dean's infamous scream.

Your perception isn't something we can trot out there to prove Republicans are evil.

IOW, its a non-issue so us Dems will have to find something else to hang the Repukes on.

That being said, Bush's comments were about as insincere as possible. He may as well been reading off his grocery list. But that is my perception.

I finally listened to the clip. Those people were groaning about clinton having heart trouble.

5. I don't know

What I heard certainly didn't deserve 200+ posts on a thread. We are looking for anything to nail on this guy.

Kerry can win this w/o making shit up...If he cleans up in the debates and gets a complete vision for Americans to relate to and believe in, the oligarchs are out of bidness.

7. I would have added to that thread if I could...
based on the (now scrubbed) news article from the AP that was out at the time which stated the crowd clearly 'Boo'ed' after W's well wishes.

10. Come on man...
No one's implying that this little non-incident will change anything....

What we're implyin is that the pukes do it to us all the time so it's nice for a change to lay it on them. I say make up all kinds of shit on these assholes and kill them with it.

6. There was an AP article...
that stated there were 'boo's' heard after Bush's comments about Clinton. Apparently, the reporter elaborated. There were only a couple of boo's heard but they were drowned out by the clapping. We certainly don't need to detest Republican behavior any more than we already do, and their booing after W's 'good will' wishes towards Clinton would have put me over the edge.

Anyone ever wonder what our reaction would be if the situation were reversed? I'm guessing silence.

11. I think everyone is missing the point
Whether there were boos or not (perception of boos is okay with me too) WHY did they RUSH to correct this story EMEDIATELY and not rush to correct the Swiftie stories or other kerry/gore/clinton etc distortions????

If they can correct this mistake so soon, then they could have corrected the idea that gore started the internet, or kerry's purple heart was faked-- EMEDIATELY.
I say this is a freebie for us for perception. Just go read what they say at lucy goldbergs site about clintons heart-- see how fast you want to correct any percieved false impressions.
