My deepest sympathies go out to the Russian people.
I was truly saddened to here about deaths and destruction of the school gymnasium in Beslan, Russia. How far will this go? I was almost moved to tears when I saw the photos of the dead. I can agree that terrorism must be stopped but not as a war. The people who did this were criminals and psychopaths. Not freedom fighters. I truly believe if people want to be free as a country, then so be it but you do not target children to gain your goals.

4. What a stupid, painful world this can be.
It hurts just thinking about it. I can't imagine what the families have gone through.

6. Mine, as well.
With such macabre events occurring in Russia over the last week or so, it's hard to believe we're talking about anything else.

11. The tragic and heartbreaking part of it is...
many of these children will be scarred mentally after this traumatic event. This will be with them for the rest of their lives.

9. This is incredibly heartbreaking. My condolences.
Almost too much to comprehend. The two plane explosions, as well. So much death in the world now. So much heartbreak.

12. Our brothers and sisters are fighting the only way they can...
How quickly we come to the defense of an empire, not that dissimilar to ours, that bleeds the working man dry of all dignity and peace.

Our brothers and sisters are fighting as only they can. In war, there are always victums...and with Putin or Bush one never sees the victims. Putin will now lash out with righteous anger, defending his beloved, and our brothers and sisters will die TEN FOLD...but we will not see them. Who will tell our story?

As you weep for the oppressors, who will weep for our boys and girls?
God is Great!

13. we weep for all innocents...........
All those caught in the crossfire, defenseless. There is no justification for the murder of innocents by anyone, anywhere.

14. There is no justification for brutality for anybody.

That includes Russians, Chechens, Arabs, and even Americans.

You know many Muslims all over the world are condemming what has happened in Beslan today. I think the Chechen struggle for independence has been setback dramatically because of this.
