18. sigh........ I agree with his sentiments..... I rather he didn't use that
term......

"Radical" is a GOOD WORD (tm), and I really don't like to see it used in that way. sigh....

Radical actually means "root"....... To describe something as radical means it comes from the root.... that certainly doesn't describe RW ideology. But, is accurate for traditional Dem policies.

sigh........

Can't win 'em all, and I won't fault him for it, I just wish he wouldn't........

19. Well, the reason, I think, he's using it is because the Right
uses it against the Left so often. It's one way of depowering the effectiveness of the Right by turning the tables on them and using their own words and methods. By the Right's definition (someone far to one side of the spectrum), it's a valid use of the word.

I understand where you're coming from, though.

Oh boy, don't get me started on Star Wars.

Shrubya's national/military defense team was orginally designed and built to expand Star Wars to unreal proportions.

But we got hit off-guard by the TERR-A-ISTS instead.

21. Krugman -- the authors up here are like a reverse of the
blind men touching the elephant fable. Each one has grabbed onto a part that they understood. Krugman--economics (and he did the others)...and they all got it right and could tell that something was definitely wrong.

I really like that analogy.

I suppose because everyone is being *very* careful to make assertions that are clearly proveable, and will sway people. I suppose nobody wants to be labeled "kook" from all directions.

64. Ah, thanks..merh, for pointing me to this thread..
I'll be the Sunday 2 am viewer, having missed the 5pm spot on Sat.

Everybody-- your reviews are enthusiastically inspiring. I hope all the guests appearing on the show are on fire. Wilson has a (mega) dog in this fight and is key to opening the door to the larger aspects regarding the rampant corruption of the Bush Administration. I hope Fitz can take the heat, not buckling under all the pressure/extortion/undue influence/threats coming his way. <sigh>

I hope BC's recovery is swift. We can't afford to be without his insight for a moment, battling the demons from the darkside is his forte. May the saints protect him in his hours of vulnerability.. and I hope to God Hillary hires private security to sleep at his bedside 24/7 and trusts no one, not even his doctors.
