One hundred AWOL Bush Buttons, coming right up!
Edited on Sat Sep-04-04 05:22 PM by rocknation

One hundred is all I can afford right now. I should be receiving them a week from Tuesday. But what's the smartest thing to do with them--sell them as promotional items or for charity? And who should get the net proceeds?

3. But there's more than one way to do that

4. Although I'm ok with the sentiment expressed
Why this wasn't used against chimp in 2000 when it might have done some good? Now it appears to the rw as some kind weak of tit for tat sour grapes. Particularly since chimp has finessed his "service" into some kind of nebulous "I served" statement that essentially has never been successfully refuted.

This time around, Kerry's military record got the once-over--now it's Bush's turn. If Kerry's unfit to be commander-in-chief on the grounds that he protested a war he fought in, then Bush is even MORE unfit because he not only used connections to sidestep going to that war, he didn't even complete the duty he ended up with. There's also the matter of his wearing a medal he didn't earn, and saying that he served in the Air Force when he didn't.

7. The plain fact is that Kerry is "Fit" to be C-I-C
and it has nothing to do with what happened 30 years ago. Kerry has been an outstanding public servant, champion of good causes and has displayed a level of dignity and statesmanship far above is "rival" at all times. Beyond these good things, what other argument is necessary? If he were to lose it will be based on a fully corroded and corrupted system for which there is no more hope. We will have all unwittingly ended up in a dictatorship without any hope for redemption.
