Ashcroft's Camps: 5 years later
I have been expecting a wider Guantanamo type situation for a while now. I am not the only one. Now Ashcroft is apparently asking for them. With the impending election coming, Pukes will take any victory they get as a mandate for their maniacal plans.

I find myself asking questions. What is going to happen if Ashcroft gets his way and gets camps to which to send those that aren't team players? Are the conservatives with liberal children going to stand up for their own flesh and blood being treated like animals, or are they going to go along with the fascist regime and say nothing? If the camps are inhumane and treat inmates like animals, are the "good boys and girls" going to dance joyfully or are their consciences going to get the best of them? In five years, when all the naughty people have been carted off to naughty camp, what is the U.S. going to look like? How will the world see the U.S.?

1. Seems a lot of Republicans don't mind handing their kids & grandkids
a huge debt to pay off. What makes you doubt they would stop officials from running right over those kids? They are letting future jobs go away; that hurt their kids. The ones who are hawks don't mind sending young people to die for the corporate good. Many don't want to consider changing things in order to preserve the environment; that hurts their kids.

If you think about it, the neocon followers are eating their own kids. I heard rats will do that when things get bad enough.

2. Amerika in 2008
About 25 million are incarerated in the US. Prison labor is the largest growing aspect of the economy.

The felon repayment act permenently recinds felon voting rights, and mandates a $100.00 month reparation to society from all felons, in prision and out.

America needs prison labor, because from 2005 on, its economy was a command economy, and under strictures from the WTO.

So now you get 5 years for a joint, or a rock, or an expired plate, or a burnt out taillight.

And no one visits the United States anymore. It is the land of the no knock warrant. Where everyone prays for the health of the president out loud, 3 times a day.
