last night i went to a free demonstration of how to use electronic voting
machines....and the man who's supposed to show us how easy it is ACCIDENTALLY VOTED FOR THE WRONG PERSON. hee hee, he joked, this is a good opportunity to show you how to edit your votes.
i do NOT have a warm fuzzy feeling about this. at all.
4. I've found Sequoia machines really easy to use...
the problem is not knowing what happens when I hit the VOTE button. What confidence I do have is due to checking and finding that in 2000, despite a narrow Republican majority, my county went for Gore by a 54% - 44% margin.
