Do you even remember what life was like before we invaded Iraq?
We all knew we couldn't stand Bush. We knew he was out there ! Everyday he said something stupid. But we did have a life of sorts. I can barely remember what a homelife as it should be is anymore, because after the invasion it seems all I do is write congressman, help distraught vets, deal with testing the test schools, argue with wingers who want to have the last word (Ha thats a joke) lost friends, family divided. Does anyone else have this problem? Stay on C-Span, talk radio, call ins, stay on the computer.
Put out a Take it Back CD, ! Now the campaign. I have not gone swimming all summer. Not once. Did this begin as an urgency for you as well after the invasion?

6. Hey sweetheart, don't start with before we invaded Iraq! Start with
the selection in December of 2000. I know how tired you are and you know how tired I am! It only ramped up on us all with the "shock and awe" of September 11.

I only just wish that my dearest and I could have gone swimming all summer. It's been urgent for us since we started dropping bombs on Afghanistan. Actually it's been urgent for us since Bush was "selected", not elected!!!!!!!!

10. I was upset when Bush got selected. Then there was 9/11
At that point everything changed...even color changed it's hue. I maintained through Afghanistan but when Iraq happened, it was the LIVING END.

My whole life has been turned upside down. I'm even sicker/unhealthy from all the time and effort I've spent on educating myself on the issues and donating and marching and writing and whatever else I can do for the campaign to get BUSH THE HELL OUTTA THERE.

My family has been neglected,my health has been neglected. Frankly, I wonder what I'll do with myself when/if this election is all over and settled.

I want my country back ....FOR ALL OF US. I want to turn my attentions back to simple things; family, travel, gardening, grandkids, friends, local issues, etc. I want to get my health back, stop worrying, and be able to sleep soundly at night.

*sigh*

You sound like me.....Every month when AT&T sends me my monthly useage I look...and it's always 300 hours......I have not slept since 9-11. I can't remember what having a life really is. Have turned down dates...see no friends.....and yes.....have lost some too.....OMG I hate these people.
I don't know what I will do if we lose??

13. sugarbleus doesn't like "intellectuals," apparently....
check out this sugarbleus contribution (the last few lines):

Now, I'm not saying anything about sugarbleus.

Wasn't the mocking and marginalizing of intellectuals one of the hallmarks of fascism?

14. Yes I do
Life was spent waiting for Shrub to invade Iraq while spewing lies to get his way. Before that, it was trying to make sense of the events of 9/11/2001. Before that, it was mourning Shrub's entry into the WH at the same time I was trying to mourn for my grandmother. Before that, Clinton was president and things were not nearly so bad. My life did not revolve around having my life ruined by ShrubCo, inc.
