Does anyone know what happened to Kristen Breitweiser

and the plan to organize a vigil asking for answers on the Anniversary of 9/11?

There were families of victims at the RNC, but Kristen and the others have not been heard from since the 9/11 Commission report.

Anyone know anything?

Kristen always sounded like she was relentlessly asking the right questions...

Why: A new Zogby poll ( http://www.zogby.com/news) shows that 49.3% of New York City residents believe some government leaders "consciously failed" on 9/11.

Two/thirds (66%) call for a re-opening of the investigation. Given the pivotal historical significance of 9/11, the investigation must proceed to full disclosure and examination of as yet unfollowed lines of inquiry. Common citizens, scholars, and whistleblowers must take, and are taking, this into their own hands.

Doyle said he and some of the other families were furious in March when the Bush campaign aired an advertisement with footage of the World Trade Center disaster. They complained and it was quickly pulled.

Kristen Breitweiser, whose husband, Ron, was killed that day, said it is "obvious" to her that Bush is trying to score political points by evoking the memory of Sept. 11.

Yet Breitweiser said she finds it strange that Bush would pin his re-election hopes on an event she thinks is the chief failure of his administration. She said the highly critical Sept. 11 commission report should be enough to make any politician think twice about invoking the attacks.

"I don't understand how 9/11 can be a platform for his re-election," said Breitweiser, who voted for Bush in 2000. "Every day that goes by since Sept. 12 I see as a squandered opportunity by the administration in fixing problems everyone knows need to be fixed."
