Two U.S. Soldiers Killed, 16 Wounded in Mortar Barrage
BAGHDAD, IRAQ (AP) — Two U.S. soldiers have been killed in a mortar attack in Iraq.

The military says 16 others were wounded -- one critically -- in the attack on a logistical base west of Baghdad.

Four of the injured have returned to duty.

The soldiers killed and wounded all belonged to the Army's 13th Corps Support Command, which oversees distribution of military fuel, food, water and other supplies to U.S. forces.

2. Ya think it will hurt the Bush bounce?
Maybe we can send a few of those conservative "Protest Warriors" over to Iraq to help out.

3. According to globalsecurity.org, there are 35 reported not confirmed dead
that makes 1021 dead already.

4. Damn the media
No wonder Bush has a bounce. Even though it's not nearly as big as those bogus Newsweek and Time polls suggest, bad news about Bush has all but disappeared from the headlines. I wouldn't even know there's a war going on if it wasn't for the internet and places like DU.
