All of these environment problems.....

...really turn the Christian fundies cranks. I was just thinking about this today. Part of what's supposed to happen before the rapture is tumultuous weather - floods, fires, etc. They must be really getting off on all of these hurricanes coming through FLorida.

Also, it's the perfect justification to trash the Kyoto treaty as Bush did a few years ago.

1. Amazing they think they'll just "disappear" up to God...
Let's just say IF it did happen, I would drop to my knees and finally believe in God, having gotten the sign I've been looking for all my life!

2. the sooner the better..I say..

...Of course the days after the rapture are supposed to be quite hellish, at least we could deal with problems semi-rationally and use science to our advantage.

I figure at this point, it's a toss up..lol.

5. Wouldn't it be utterly ironic if it were all the liberals that went!

The fundies are left behind clinging to their warmongering dogma, eating each other alive knowing they were fooled all along! Utterly shocked knowing that simply paying lip service to Christian priniciples wasn't enough! Crying and weeping with a pocket full of tax cuts! Oh the irony of it!

3. Wouldn´t that mean to accept the principles of
science? Some of those "Christian" fundies would rather accept that the bad weather is made by those terrible treasonous Europeans - have you noticed the names of the hurricanes? First it was France(s) and then it´s Ivan.
