15 US Soldiers have lost their lives in Iraq in the month of September.
Edited on Mon Sep-06-04 07:22 AM by VolcanoJen
Today is September 6.

Iraq Coalition Casualty Count - September 2004

The last two days in Iraq:

Car Bomb Near Fallujah Kills 7 Marines - Monday, September 6, 2004

Mortar Attack Kills 2 U.S. Soldiers in Iraq - Sunday, September 5, 2004

This news should serve as yet another wake-up call about all that is at stake this election.

The media doesn't seem too interested in this story yet, so it might be time to fire up the media blaster.

1. Out of sight, out of mind..the Rove/Bush "lib" media.
Those disturbing photos of returning dead kids would distract from the Swiftliar story..

2. Seven more deaths
and we will have reached the 1000 point. Will anyone even notice when that happens? Will they parse the numbers up again so that they are a subset instead of total so they won't have to say the word 1000?

Will most of the people who hear about it even give a damn? Will they thank God for having such a strong and decisive pResident in office during a time of war?:grr:

3. What breed, of pig, is that a picture of...
in your signature?

Looks like a Yorkshire to me.
Or it could be a Spotted Poland China.

10. Unfortunately, that death rate
has been about average over the past several months. We've just stopped noticing except when there is a single and dramatic high casualty event.

5. Well I'm shocked,
I didn't hear this on the "news" so apparently someone is making this all up 'cause we know Mission Accomplished and everything is just peachy over there. Why we've captured/killed 3/4 of Al-Quaeda and Saddam (that very bad man) is in jail and all the Iraqis just love us...you must be mistaken.....

6. I haven't seen any of the morning shows cover it
The Today show briefly mentioned it, but went back to the Hurricane.

8. Haven't you heard? It's easier to send reporters into the wind
then to send them to report on caskets of soldiers.
