"I'm a war time President" ?? - is this WWIII and we just don't know it?

Think about it:

- Israel has been at "war with terror" for 30+ years
- Spain would clearly qualify as being at "war with terror"
- Iraq was initiated by Dumbya into this new war - let's welcome them
- Afghanistan is clearly the "Germany" of this war - as insane as that sounds
- Saudi Arabia now qualifies as it has experienced a recent initiation
- Russia is the newest member to join the "allies" in this never-ending battle
- Britain is clearly a member of the terror group
- Iran and Korea are clearly members of the "other side" in this pitched battle
- There are several African nations that are part of the "Islamic" enemy club
- There are several Middle Eastern nations in the enemy "Islam" group as well
- Europe has been in this war for years with the random terrorist attacks there

Well, there ya go - we are in World War III and we just don't know about it.

Oh, BTW, we are also fighting several other "World Wars" at this time - perhaps you've heard of them as they are killing more people than Dumbya's personal "WWIII (on terror)":

- World War on Drugs
- World War on Automobiles
- World War on Cancer
- World War on Influenza
- World War on Starvation (far more people die in Africa that our petty war)
- World War on Rogue African Nations (their genocides put the "war on Terra" to shame)
- and, of course, the World War on Aging - this one is the most deadly

All of the above conflicts are killing FAR MORE people than the "World War" we are currently fighting.

I think I'll go get a cup of coffee - hopefully I won't get "taken out" by any of the many terrible "World Wars" that are currently raging in that terrible and dangerous world out there.

Perhaps I'll (yawn) even worry about the one the Preznit and his cronies are trying to scare me with? - nah! :P

I believe he actually said, "I'm a war president".

If he had said "I'm a war time president", that only suggests he is president in a time of war. To say "I'm a war president", ... to me that means he is a president who intends to make war and keep on making war.

Can you expand on this one? I really don't understand what you mean. I'm more inclined to believe the US is the "Germany" in this war. Maybe I'm just slow on the uptake. :)

It's a truism almost embarrassing to repeat that a particular government might find it suitable to have an enemy in-the-midst, more imagined than real, whom they can point out to the populace as the threat. And from that threat, only this party, this view of the polity they manage, can save the innocent sleep of the citizenary.
