Happy Massive Corporate Profits on the Sweat of Cheap Labor Day
No, I don't have a link. I've just been bombarded with news in my Sunday paper of all these Labor Day Sale everywhere. I'm sure corporate headquaters has the day off. But down at the service and retail level it is profits as usual.

If you can refrain from shopping today please do.

3. A Person After My Own Heart
I've scavenged for several years now, which makes a lot of sense considering the perfectly useful items that people toss every day.

5. Done. No shopping today. I will eat in a locally-owned Chinese
restaurant, though.

It sounds like I'm being noble by not shopping today, but I hate to shop and do not shop most days anyway.
