BAGHDAD, Iraq (CNN) -- The U.S. military command in Baghdad has confirmed that seven Marines and three Iraqi guardsmen were killed in a car bomb in Falluja.

10. I still care........

I talked to one of my son's high school buddies on Saturday. He's in the Guard and may be going to Iraq soon. It's sobering to think of that innocent kid eating pancakes at my house just a few short years ago facing the nightmare of Iraq. The feelings get even worse when I reflect that this kid is one of thousands just like him.

12. Please, I keep asking everyone here to go back to April of 2003 in

Fallujah. The day this protest happened was a very significant event. Everything that has happened since that day and all days afterward explains what is happening now. I looked at my husband, after monitoring the events as they unfolded throughout that day and many more subsequent days, described to him that our soldiers and the Iraqi people would be facing what is happening now. I feel really bad for knowing that day all of what is happening now in Fallujah would come to pass. I know exactly how I would feel if it was my town and I had been witness to many friends and acquaintances being wiped out and devasted. How would you feel? Smart Bombs and foreign terrorists, I don't think so.

I am just sick, beyond belief for what is happening there.
