NYC: Robert Kennedy Jr. and Howard Dean events at Barnes&Noble Union Sq.

Howard Dean: Sept. 27 12:30 pm

Both will be discussions and signings. I'm sure the Dean event will be packed, and maybe the Kennedy event also. Al Franken and Paul Krugman were at the store recently for a 7:00 pm event. B&N started giving out wristbands at 5:00 and a line for them started forming at 4:30. Those that were there not long after 5 pm were able to get a seat and then leave the area for a while. People that showed up later were standing and packed through the store.

The Kennedy book is perhaps the single biggest indictment of the bush admin that I have read. Page after page is just one horror after another as bush and industry wages war on the American people. If you are easily agitated, you may want to take some medication before reading this book.

2. "Crimes Against Nature"

is the single best book on the environment and politics I've ever read. Robert is a powerful man. Kerry should be having Robert on tour with him.
