Whats the deal? On the surface it sounds like unsupported BS. Where are the facts and the truth? Or are we supposed to believe what she says on faith?

18. The only time I ever read one of her books was when
Sinatra tried to prevent her from publishing.

I don't like censorship.

Actually, there was nothing in the Sinatra book that I had not seen or heard before. I seem to remember that it was well documented, too.

And, Sinatra did not sue her. I think he might have if she had told out and out lies.

2. It depends.
You only need facts and truth if you are a democrat writing about republicans. Republicans writing about democrats only require rumor and innuendo. If Kelly is an independent, she can use both. There you go!

3. No you are supposed to listen to everything Rush Limbaugh,
Jonah Goldberg and Ann Coulter tells you on faith. Kitty Kelley does gossip. Accept it or reject it. Incidentally, Kitty Kelley documents her sources, in this case Sharon, former wife of Neill Bush. Now the real question is gonna be if you think Sharon knows sumthin.

6. That's herpes simplex Neil and there is an excellent Vanity
Fair interview with his wife called "The Inconvenient Sharon Bush" where she talks about this stuff, I think it was in the April issue (or March) and there is a great interveiw in there with Bev Harris, too, same issue.

12. Ok, but doesnt that make her POV suspect?
I mean, its not like Sharon Bush doesnt have an axe to grind or anything. I think her contributions will be dismissed outright because of her situation, sadly.

13. Excellent Pt. they quote Russ and Ann
all day long.
What ever he says they believe and they repeat it over and over until it becomes FACT in the minds of Americans.

So, what ever Kitty says I will believe and I will quote.
Remember the meme they use,"some people say" and remember that it is a winning political strategy for the 21st Century.

I have read her other books and I enjoyed them.

This one is going to be "compelling" I am sure.

Why do I have to examine the work of a popular writer with a fine tooth comb? I'm not Columbo.

11. Hmm, well with all due respect, I dont really want to waste my time on
claptrap rumor. If it is something factual, it would be worth reading, but if its just muckraking, well hell, I can just read the tabloids for that.

All that matters is that some people have made these allegations.
LOL.

14. Some of the stories on advance blurbs
that I have seen actually come from, or as in one case, parallel research done right here on DU! A couple of duers pursueing it from a different angle came up with the scenario of GW getting sent to Ala. because he was a poor little rich, spoiled, drunken and stoned boy who was such a painful embarassment to the bush mafia that he had to be removed from the Houston area. Apparently Ms Kelly just went straight to the widow of said bush operative and got pretty much the same story. There have been lots of threads here in the last week covering lots and lots of good reading. Have fun!

16. Jim Hatfield said Karl Rove personally told him Bush was arrested
in 1982 in Harris County for cocaine. Of course, he's dead - like most others who speak negatively about Bush.
