Many many people and nations knew that Iraq was not a threat. Their neighbors knew (none took part in the "coalition"). The U.N. knew (read the Inspectors' reports before the war). Europe knew (read the statements from most major European countries before the war, after the U.N. went in). Most of the goddamned world knew that Iraq was no threat (millions in the streets). Hell, even I KNEW!! Anyone who read beyond the headlines and the White House press releases (basically the same thing at the time) knew!!
This is a milestone, and it merits attention for this simple reason:
One death was too many for this war. 1000 deaths is a thousand times too many!!!
