O'Reilly Might Run Against Hillary in 2006
http://www.nydailynews.com/front/story/229533p-197105c.html
The Fox News Channel personality, host of the top-rated "O'Reilly Factor," occasionally gets mentioned as a possible Republican opponent to Sen. Hillary Clinton - and the speculation usually goes no further.

But I'm told that in recent days, O'Reilly, a registered independent, has confided to friends that he's seriously considering a run...

3. Yeah Right...
He'd have to actually debate and couldn't get away with shutting off people's mikes and telling them to "Shut up."
Maybe he should run. It might expose him for the hypocritical b**ch he really is.

5. so the debate will go like this:
Clinton: Elect me, and I will continue to fight for my constituents of the great state of New York, for a woman's right to choose, and for a safer, stronger America.

O'Reilly: Shut up, shut up, just shut the hell up. Somebody cut of her mike...

8. Correction: O'Reilly might run against repuke primary challengers..
Edited on Tue Sep-07-04 12:03 PM by Kahuna
in 2006. Since he won't make it past the primary challenge there is very little chance that he will have the opportunity to run against Hillary. And, if he ran as in independent he would dilute the repuke vote and guarantee a victory for Hillary.

10. Say, Bill, you always belligerently claim that you're an independent...
In spite of your voter registration having a big fat "R" on it.

Go ahead and run, I'm sure New Yorkers would love to have a chance to hand your ass to you.

11. O'Reilly might pull off a big win...
If he was running in Idaho.

But up against Hillary, please... She'd have him so flustered during the debate he'd show what a jackass bully he really is. Picture him at the debates waving his finger in Hillary's face and screaming at the top of his lungs... Lazio got slammed for jjust crossing te stage... And of course, Hillary standing there, regal as ever, self composed, thinking to herself, "you putz, you just blew it asshole, hahahahahahahaha"

24. He's have a heart attack
on air. He'd get all red in the face and start yelling "shut up" whenever he couldn't counter Hillary. (and that would be frequent). And without his time delay and ability to edit, he'd be sunk. I mean, the man couldn't handle the kid who's father died in the towers, or George Clooney, or Al Franken. What possible chance does he think he'd have against the polished, well-read, well-spoken, and infinitely more intelligent Ms. Clinton?

I want to see Rudy and Pataki slaughter each other in the primary before they get to go after HRC. NY politics can be a great spectacle to watch from afar. :)

17. Bring it on, Bill!
Hillary's about 10 times smarter, and he can't say SHUT UP! and hit the mute button in a debate.

Like all decent Americans, New Yorkers DESPISE O'Reilly. She'd wipe the floor with him.

After all, hasn't he continued to insist ad nauseum that he is definitely NOT a water-carrying, knee pad-wearing, Republican ass licker?

28. That would ensure a Green vote for me.
It's hard enough to find a nose clamp big enough to vote for Kerry, but even the Super Industrial Strengh wouldn't be up to Hillary/O'bully.
