2. Good for Boxer....and important
I am so sickened by the administration's attempt to sweep under the rug our collective understanding of the deaths and injuries to our troops.

Thanks for letting us know it is on, in_cog_ni_to. Last I checked in, Trent Lott was speaking and I turned it off.

4. It's nice to know someone cares enough
to honor their service and deaths. Thank You, Barbara.

I'm so sad now. It makes me weep. It's heartbreaking.

5. FOR A SECOND PLEASE HOLD ME
http://www.bushflash.com/year.html WATCH THIS VIDEO only takes 3 minutes

Enveloped in a sentiment,
A sound that rushes over me.
Engage an impulse to pretend
I have a faith as pure.
Not forgetting what it means to dream.
Indulging everything.
Entertaining thoughts that I've the strength
Of those I yearn to be.
Cheers and tribute greet the saviours.
Reckless thoughts survive.
Anachronistic and impulsive.

And what will happen?
Will I dream?
I am too scared to close my eyes.
For a second please hold me.
None can change in me these things that I believe.
But I don't know what happens now.
I am too scared to close my eyes.

6. In the weeks they were out of Senate, 48 died in Iraq
who were from CA or stationed from CA.

I think someone mentioned how long it was going to take. She looked up and said "I wish it didn't have to take this long" IIRC (regarding so many killed)

9. Good answer
Bless her for doing it. One of the most horrible things this administration has done is to sweep these deaths under the rug. How can they say they honor the troops when they don't even acknowledge their deaths?

8. Damn! I wish she was our candidate for prez.
She's got more courage than most of the Democrats in congress. Fortunately, I have a good senator like her to vote for without a noseplug. Patty Murray.

Ah, well, "too liberal" for the Dems.
