Heres a little tip, if it only exists in codes, it is very possible you are making it up. In fact I can assure you that you are making it up. You have an idea in your head that these things are being written, so your brain interprets things to match what you already thought. thats why it seems like a code.

As to your other point. Sorta. There has to be something wrong. The main thing that is wrong is that the republicans have gotten the support of corporate America at unprecedented levels. Corporate money and influence has ruined the system. Corporations have taken control of information and thier resources make them almost unstoppable. NOt to mention that in the same time, they have practically destroyed the labor movement leaving absolutely nothing reletively influential enough to fight corporate power.

So with corporations owning media outlets and a massively funded right wing propaganda machine, the conservatives spun public perception out of any realm of reality. Making liberal into a bad word and creating straw men like feminazis.

Why dont you read David Brock's "The Republican Noise Machine" to get a clear picture of what the right has done since nixon to be able to do this.

You are right, the democrats have made mistakes, they should have fought the change in politics earlier, but hindsight is 20/20.
