Dean really slammed Bush and Cheney in San Diego yesterday.
Maybe this is why Bush might be a little cross with him.

Former Vermont Gov. Howard Dean held up a pen, attempting to find its owner, at the Labor Day rally held yesterday by Democrats at Mount Acadia Park in Clairemont. The onetime candidate for president was mobbed by autograph seekers near the end of the benefit for local candidates.
"This is our country," he said. "This country does not belong to the Bushies. We need a president who understands ordinary working people."

SNIP..."Dean began the evening referencing his infamous scream after he lost the Iowa primary. "I heard there is a request so I want to get this out of the way right now: Yeah!'
After that, Dean encouraged the audience to take American democracy back into their hands.

"Politics is far too important to be left for career politicians,' he said. "We need to take this country back for the ordinary people.'

The progressive politician was wildly popular with the 1,500 who packed the chapel. The event was part of a get-out-the-vote effort being put on by the Associated Students of University of Redlands. In October, former Pentagon spokeswoman Torie Clarke will address students.

U of R sophomore Shelley Langford was inspired. A registered Republican who attended the speech because of a class assignment, Langford said she needs to learn more about the presidential race before voting....."
