Why our 1000 soldiers died....
1000 Soldiers killed in Iraq. And for what?

Protecting the United States from an attack by Saddam with his weapons that didn't exist? Retaliation from the terrorist attacks on 9/11 that Saddam had nothing to do with? Protecting us from terrorist organizations that were no where to be found in Iraq until after we toppled the government?

These men and women died because the Bush administration presided over the two worst failures of intelligence in the history of the United States, 9/11 and the attack on Iraq.

Whoever was responsible for this complete, total failure in intelligence should be held accountable, put on trial, and in jail for breaching their fiduciary duty to the United States and to our soldiers.

Bring our troops home now!

5. Perhaps he in not from the US?
I've never met anyone from here in the US who does not respect the soldiers. It's the damn leadership that deserves no respect and is actually guilty of war crimes - at least in my mind.

10. Who says the "soldiers" did anything wrong"
They are soldiers, and most of them didn't ask for this and the lot of them would shed a tear to see this photo right now. Us Soldiers didn't put people in mass graves, didn't use chemicals on it's citizens, didn't invade Kuwait, didn't export terror. It's too easy for people who armchair quarterback to look only at today's
horrors and point fingers.

11. Tell us who did this and when?
The chemical attacks and mass graves happened under BUSH SENIOR's watch. And what did the right wing compassionate assholes do then?

Not a damn thing. In fact we gave them the weapons that they used.

The men and women dying in Iraq did not die to avenge those crimes committed almost 2 decades ago.

They died to avenge those crimes when the WMD's, and 9/11 link, and any terrorist acitivy couldnt be found. They died for an excuse.

This is sad to say. but true.

14. Who.....
Who took power in 1980, who led people out the door to be executed during the birth of the Baath Party. Did we supply Iraq with weapons.
Yup, the flaw in a theory of "An Enemy of My Enemy, is an Ally".
It has happened throughout history and it will bite you in the ass.
No dought American hardware found it's way to Iraq in the 1980's, but I doubt we sent them Sarin gas. I doubt that Saddam was sitting around one day, playing Scrabble and got a call from our DOD suggesting that he become sadistic murderer to control his country.

9. Yes those Kids.......
Those kids have made up the majority of Americas Army from the Civil War on. They are underpaid, over worked, almost no sleep, they
struggled up a wall on the Beaches of Normandy, froze their butts off in Korea, got Jungle Rot in Nam and now they eat sand. There are kids who got out of the fighting in all of these places, but there is one thing THESE kids are, they're better than you and I.
